To have the opportunity to oversee the whole lighting production for this event was a highlight for my 2025 year. With performances by Lionel Richie, DJ Pete Tong, the cast from Tina The Musical & Priscilla, Queen of the Desert fulfilled all the work and hours that were put into making the evening extraordinary for the clients. Hosted at the Peninsula Hotel London, we transformed their iconic ballroom into a theatrical paradise which captivated all the guest and clients upon seeing the space.
To be handed a lighting plan filled with the highest of standard fixtures made the overall experience amazing. The lighting set up consisted of Ayrton (Rivale's), Robe (Pointe's, Painte's & 150s), GLP (JDC 1s & X4 Bar 20s), Chauvet Professional (Rogue 2X), Robo Spots & Prolights (Smart Batt Plus). Along with many Pyro, Laser and Sparks Units built into the rig. For Control we ran MA2 for visiting LDs (2 for LX, 1 for Video) and a Avolites D9 for our house desk.
Throughout the load in I worked directly on organising the placement for fixtures, establishing the main power feeds and dropping soca's to their relevant placements, rigging the main line arrays with audio, setting up FOH LX and the LX floor package. With daily changing teams and extra local crew joining us throughout the install, I would support all the technical teams and distribute particular tasks.
