Bolton End Of Season Awards 2023

The end of season awards for Bolton Wanderers Football Club is always a lively and fun event to work on with the professionalism at the beginning of the award ceromancy which then follows to a relaxed party atmosphere with bands and DJ's throughout the night. This creates two types of lighting programming for myself where I create a recuring PreSet look and winning state to then have a busking page for the rest of the evening which allows me to have an enjoyable time with the lighting set up.

For this event I work specifically with the client and the budget to create a Lighting Design that can double as a Corporate style Awards Show and Band/Singer Backline where I can incorporate colours and movement with the music. With only having three hours to programme and no rehearsal time, I very quickly had to create such intricate designs and eye catching looks for the event guest and client, who was very pleased with the outcome resulting in many more high standard events and this venue.

The day before the event I came onto site to begin checking the lighting design and to start patching and setting out my console so that when I started to programme the following day I had a head start and didn't need to lose time doing the small but time consuming jobs. This is because I like to be proactive and prepared before my events so if a problem was to arise I would have a time on my side. Overall this prep day was useful for me and gave me a good opportunity before the event day.
